The weekend before Thanksgiving my wife noticed the smell of gas coming from the cabinet next to the stove. We called the gas company who came out and confirmed that we had a leak. The gas company was unable to fix the leak and let us know we needed to have a plumber come out. In the meantime they would need to shut off the gas to the stove until it was fixed. A friend had recently used Pallan Plumbing and highly recommended that we give them a call. Shon from Pallan Plumbing replied promptly and was able to get out to our house on Tuesday. He showed up on time and was very knowledgable and professional. He quickly diagnosed the issue and was able to resolve the leak with minimal disruption to the surrounding cabinetry. Pallan Plumbing saved our Thanksgiving, and for that I highly recommend them for any plubming needs!

Shon has come to help twice with two different issues I have had with my gas lines for my fire pit. Shon is trustworthy. It took me a couple months to finally call a plumber for issue #1. When issue #2 came up (completely different item), I text him that day, and he was out 2 days later and fixed it, just nice to have someone you can trust. He just did some work at a friends house and they said the experience was the same.

Residential Hydrojet Cleaning Service
Residential hydrojet drain cleaning is a safe and highly effective way to clear clogged or slow-moving household drains using high-pressure water. It works by blasting away years of buildup (grease, soap scum, food particles, and even tree roots) without the need for harsh chemicals. This method is ideal for kitchen sinks, showers, bathtubs, and sewer lines. Homeowners often turn to hydrojetting when other drain cleaning methods fail or as a preventative measure to keep plumbing systems working without problems.

Commercial Hydrojet Cleaning Service
Commercial hydrojet drain cleaning is designed for the heavy-duty demands of larger plumbing systems found in restaurants, apartment buildings, hotels, and industrial facilities. We high-pressure water jets to cut through thick grease, sludge, mineral deposits, and debris that accumulate over time in high-traffic drain systems. It’s a fast and non-invasive method that keeps commercial operations working without delays or costly repairs. Commercial hydrojetting is a way for your business to stay compliant with health and safety regulations.

Our Hydrojet Drain Cleaning Process
Here’s how our trained technicians carry out each job to ensure your system is fully cleared and flowing properly:
Drain Inspection
- We begin with a detailed assessment of your drainage issue, often using video inspection tools to locate the blockage and understand the pipe condition before any work begins.
System Preparation
We access the cleanout and prepare the line for hydrojetting. We check pressure settings and choose equipment for your specific pipe material and layout to prevent damage.
Final Inspection And Report
- We do a final inspection to verify the cleaning was successful and provide you with a condition report of your drain system.
Full Line Flush
- Once obstructions are cleared, we continue flushing the line to completely wash away everything, leaving the pipe fully clean.
High Pressure Jetting
- Using specialized nozzles, we place a high-pressure stream of water (up to 4000 PSI) into the line.
Experiencing These Drain Issues? Here’s What They Mean
Drain problems often show warning signs before they turn into serious plumbing emergencies. If you notice any of these issues, here’s what could be happening:
Frequent Clogs In Sinks & Tubs
Could indicate a deeper blockage in the main line. If you’re clearing the same drain over and over, the issue is likely further down the system where DIY tools can’t reach.
Slow Draining Water
Usually a sign of buildup from grease, soap, or mineral deposits narrowing the pipe. It starts gradually, but over time the water flow becomes noticeably sluggish.
Gurgling Sounds From Drains
Often caused by air pockets created by partial blockages or venting problems.
Foul Odors From Drains
May signal trapped food, bacteria buildup, or even a broken vent pipe. If the smell lingers despite cleaning, the problem is likely deeper within the line. In some cases, it can even lead to sewer gas escaping into your home, which is a health hazard.
Water Backing Up Into Other Fixtures
Suggests a blockage in the main sewer line that needs immediate attention. When flushing a toilet causes water to rise in your shower or tub, the system is no longer draining properly.
Common Drain Problems We Fix
We’ve solved every kind of drain issue, from minor clogs to major sewer backups.
Grease Blockages
- Possible Causes: Accumulation of cooking oils, fats, and soap scum in kitchen drain lines.
- Solution: High-pressure hydrojetting to break down and flush out grease buildup.
Tree Root Intrusions
- Possible Causes: Roots infiltrating cracked or unsealed sections of underground sewer lines.
- Solution: Root-cutting nozzle combined with hydrojetting to remove roots and clear the pipe.
Recurring Bathroom Clogs
- Possible Causes: Hair, soap residue, and non-flushable materials accumulating over time.
- Solution: Targeted hydrojet cleaning to remove compacted debris.
Sewer Line Backups
- Possible Causes: Main line blockages from foreign objects, heavy buildup, or pipe collapse.
- Solution: Full-line hydrojetting with video verification to confirm clearance; in severe cases, recommendations for repair or replacement.
Foul Smelling Drains
- Possible Causes: Organic waste or stagnant water stuck in U-bends or drain lines.
- Solution: Thorough flushing of lines using hydrojetting.
Water Heater Takes Too Long to Reheat
- Possible Causes: An undersized unit, a failing heating element, or a thermostat issue can cause your water heater to take longer than usual to reheat water.
- Solution: We assess whether your unit meets your household's needs and, if necessary, recommend upgrading to a higher-capacity model. If the issue is with the thermostat or heating element, we repair or replace the faulty components to restore optimal performance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is hydrojetting safe for older or fragile plumbing systems?
Hydrojetting can be safe for older pipes, but only when done correctly and after a proper inspection. If your plumbing is brittle, corroded, or damaged, adjustments to pressure settings (or a different method entirely) might be more appropriate. But you don’t have to worry, we will always assess the condition of your pipes before starting.
What types of blockages can hydrojetting remove that snaking can't?
Hydrojetting goes far beyond what a basic drain snake can handle. It can break through hardened grease, heavy sludge, tree roots, and mineral scale, things snaking may punch a hole through but not fully remove. Plus, it scrubs the pipe walls clean, not just the blockage itself.
Can hydrojetting damage PVC or cast iron pipes?
Hydrojetting is safe for both PVC and cast iron pipes when using the right pressure. The key is adjusting the equipment to suit the material and age of the pipes. Improper use, however, can cause wear.
What pressure level is typically used during a hydrojet service?
The water pressure used in hydrojetting usually ranges from 1500 to 4000 PSI. The exact setting depends on the type and condition of the pipes, as well as the nature of the blockage.
